7 Stages of Hair Loss

Every time you brush your hair and notice a little more hair fall than usual, you probably freak out and start panicking about what you’re going to do when you inevitably start to look like Dr Phil.

Breathe!

A certain amount of hair loss is normal, especially as we age, go through stressful periods of time, or move through certain milestones of our lives (women tend to suffer from hair loss immediately following pregnancy, for example). However, if you are worried that your hair loss is becoming a problem, do not hesitate to seek treatment. The good news is that it is never too early to start hair restoration therapy and boost your confidence levels in the process. After all, as they say, prevention is better than cure!

We examine the 7 stages of hair loss below::

Stage 1: Normal hair loss (the average person sheds between 50 and 100 hairs every day). No need to worry just yet…
Stage 2: Normal hair loss, but with minimal hair thinning at the frontal hairline (to be expected for most adults). The best time to call the professionals at Hair Clinic International.
Stage 3:  Here, you may show signs of moderate hair thinning at the frontal hairline, temples and/or the crown of the head.
Stage 4: The frontal hairline continues to recede and balding at the crown of the head becomes noticeable. You will, however, still have plenty of hair on the sides of your head.
Stage 5: This stage is considered to be the beginning stage of severe hair loss. Hair will still be present on the sides of the head, although much thinner on the temples; however, the portion of hair between the frontal hairline and the crown of the head will be much narrower.
Stage 6: By this time, the top of your head will be almost completely bald, and the hair on the sides of the head will begin to thin.
Stage 7: By stage 7, you are completely bald with hair remaining on the sides and back of the scalp. Even at this severe stage there is a solution for you.

Even if you are already suffering from moderate to severe hair loss, you’ll be pleased to learn that there are a variety of treatments available for every single stage of hair loss mentioned above.
