How Does It work?
The Theradome EVO LH40 is a Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) device used to promote hair growth. The light is contained inside a lightweight, one-size-fits-all helmet.
The Theradome LH40 device utilises 40 coherent-light diodes for hands-free operation during treatment.
This device is a one-button operative and has an audible timer that automatically turns the light off after the treatment is complete.
How Does This Help Treat Hair Loss?
Quite simply, laser phototherapy provides hair follicles with energy; mitochondria generate most of the cell’s supply of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), used as a source of chemical energy.
The process of laser phototherapy stimulates the epidermal stem cells in the hair follicles of the scalp, allowing the mitochondria to convert this light energy into chemical energy.
This chemical energy is then accessible to the hair cells to use to grow healthy hair.
This process is sometimes also referred to as biostimulation – the modification of an environment to stimulate existing cells or bacteria.
Studies have also shown that laser phototherapy can move hair cells into the ‘growing anagen phase’, which is when the hair grows thicker and faster than at any other time in the hair growth cycle.
What Can I Expect From The Theradome LH40 Evo?
