Surgical Hair Transplant

WHILE every effort is made to stimulate hair growth before baldness becomes an issue, it is not always possible to avoid a non-invasive treatment to generate new growth from the existing roots and hair follicles on your scalp. Transplant techniques ensure success and allow for natural hair regrowth. Through transplanted follicles, hair growth behaves as if you always had healthy roots in those areas.

What is an FUE hair transplant?

FUE (follicular unit extraction, or sometimes referred to as follicular unit transplantation) is a type of hair transplant surgery that involves extracting individual hair follicles from a donor part of the body, usually the sides and back of the head and transplanting them to a thinning area of the head, such as the hairline or crown. FUE is a minimally invasive hair restoration option that demands skill and precision and achieves the best and most natural result.

Not only do we use the most advanced technology, we also incorporate Bio Ultrasonic Ozontherapy. Bio Ultrasonic Ozontherapy is the application of an active oxygen molecule containing ozone together with a formulation of essential vitamins such as Biotin-E-B1-B2-B3-B5-B6-B7-B12 which are vital for hair grafts at their early stages of settling in the scalp through evaporation process with the help of an Ultrasonic device to the hair grafts extracted from the donor area.

Hair transplantation operation success rate, the lifetime of the hair grafts in the external environment and hair retention rate all significantly increased thanks to this method. The retention rate is 98%-99% which is a huge increase compared to the regular FUE method where the retention rate is around 80%-85%.

Its ability to increase blood circulation is used in the treatment of circulatory disorders. Furthermore, it increases body resistance and activates the immune system.

How FUE works

During the process, individual follicles are removed under local anaesthesia. The extraction procedure utilises a micro surgical extraction instrument, between 0.6mm and 1.0mm in diameter, to remove the follicles.

The surgeon, using specialist micro surgical needles with a sapphire tip, then punctures the scalp area that is to receive the grafts. The surgeons are experts at blending the hair in, inserting the grafts at an angle and density that matches the original hair, so it will resemble a natural and realistic hair pattern.

Does FUE hurt?

FUE is a minimally invasive hair surgery procedure that is administered under local anaesthetic, pain is minimised. You will be conscious for the entire time that the hair transplant procedure is administered.

There will be some mild discomfort during the recovery process, but this only lasts around seven days. The risk of complications because of FUE is also extremely low.

The hair transplantation technique has advanced so much over the last 10 years and it’s important to remember that FUE is minimally invasive in comparison to older techniques such as FUT. FUE is considered to be almost pain free in comparison to older techniques.

The results of an FUE hair transplant

FUE treatments are widely known as one of the best hair transplant techniques and the results speak for themselves. What makes FUE so remarkable is the way hairs are implanted. Experienced specialists carefully map your hair growth before implantation, so they know where and at what angle to place each follicle.

It is a process that takes a lot of experience and expertise. Still, we believe the result is worth it. With a successful FUE transplant, donor hair grows, moves, and feels the way it used to. This is the highest-quality hair transplant available which results in the most natural and realistic hair making it the most popular hair restoration solution.

As this is your natural hair, just moved from place to place, it will grow exactly as normal hair and is permanent.

What is DHI Hair Transplantation Technique?

DHI refers to a different implantation technique during the FUE transplantation. The DHI technique is a method where the two stages are performed simultaneously with the transplantation of hair follicles harvested from donor area.

The grafts are extracted at first using the micromotor assisted punches just as it is done during a FUE transplant. With this technique, there is no need to make incisions in the recipient area. The grafts are placed into specific implanter pens with a hollow needle connected to a tube and plunger device. These implanter pens are also known as Choi implanters. Then the grafts are inserted gently within the hollow needle, which is positioned at the tip of the implanter pen. Subsequently, the needle is inserted at an accurate angle of 40-45 degrees into the scalp, thus making the incision site then the graft is implanted by pressing down on the plunger.
